History

Built in 1987 by Cyro-Trans Inc., and was first used at Greenbrier Rail Services in Oregon. It was then sent to Gunderson Rail Services in Washington State for final upgrades. Cyro-Trans allowed their lessees to nickname the boxcars based on a geographical location. This boxcar was nicknamed “Colorado Springs”. Refrigerated boxcars transport perishables. In 2017, it was retired and donated to the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum, and is on display inside the fence.
