Built in 1927 by Pressed Steel Car Company in Pennsylvania for the Pere Marquette Railway. When it had

wide doors, it could transport automobiles inside. In 1947, the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad took over the Pere Marquette Railroad and used this boxcar on maintenance of way trains until retirement in 1980. It was then delivered to the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum and awaits to be repaired. Today, it is in the railyard for visitors to see.
