This locomotive went to work for the Colorado & Northwestern as #30 before being sold to the Colorado & Southern and sold once again to the Rio Grande Southern, where it was renumbered as Rio Grande Southern #74. This locomotive transported mixed freight along the mainline until the Rio Grande Southern went out of business in 1953. Later on, it went to its current location at the Colorado Railroad Museum.
