This diner was built in 1929 in Missouri for the Louisville & Nashville. These dining cars got nicknames from hotels and restaurants that were located along the railroad. Diner 2722 got its nickname, Globe Coffee House, from a restaurant in Ohio. In 1972, it was used to feed wrecker crews in Pensacola and then in Alabama 1972. In 1993, CSX donated this diner to the West Florida Railroad Museum, where it sits on display today.
