Western Maryland #202

Built in 1912 by Baldwin Locomotive Works in Pennsylvania for the Western Maryland Railway along with eight other K-2 Pacific type locomotives. These locomotives played an important role in transporting passengers from Baltimore to Chicago, Illinois, from 1913 to 1917. In 1954, diesel-electric locomotives replaced steam locomotives. Only #202 was saved out of the nine K-2 Pacific type locomotives and is on display at the City Park Train Hub.
