Dumpcat

Description

1932
Lamb
Speedtrak
Track treads
Model C 100 D

History

Built in Hoquiam for the Polson Logging Company. Right when the plans, such as the engineering and plans for building these types of vehicles, Lamb Company abandoned the project due to bigger companies, such as Caterpillar and Cletrac, making more business. In the mid 1970's, old Lamb Company employees restored this dumpcat and left it outside the Polson Museum, where the weather ruined the work, they did. They built a museum that was completed in 2009 for Polson Logging #45, Truck 3, and this vehicle, and continues to preserve them as of today.
