Built in 1888 by HK Porter Locomotive Company in Pennsylvania for the Henry McCleary Timber Company for transporting logs. In 1905, Henry McCleary Timber Company bought the Puget Sound & Chehalis Railroad. They disassembled this locomotive and hauled the pieces to McCleary by horse, where it was converted to standard-gauge wheels. The purpose was to haul and switch logs at the sawmill. It was out of service in 1941, and the following year, the Simpson Timber Company bought the sawmill. The mill has been demolished, and the location has turned into Beerbower Park, where this locomotive is preserved on static display as of today.
