History

This aircraft was used by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration for an airborne research facility. It was the first 737 built by Boeing. Langley Research Facility maintained and operated this aircraft to serve the Terminal Area Productivity program. In 2003, NASA retired this aircraft and donated it to the Museum of Flight in the Aviation Pavilion at Boeing Field.
