This aircraft is the first Boeing 747 aircraft made and is nicknamed “City of Everett”. It took its first flight in February 1969. After the flight-testing program concluded in December of the same year, Boeing used this aircraft to research and test the features for better service up until the 1990s. In 1995, it was donated to the Museum of Flight and sits on static display for tours in the Aviation Pavilion today.
