Built in 1904 by Lima Locomotive Works in Ohio for the Newhouse Mines and Smelter Company in Utah, transporting copper. Cramer Kay Machinery first bought this locomotive ten years after the Cactus Mine played out. Later on, this locomotive was sold to the Eastern Railway & Lumber Company to haul logs. Although the company name changed in 1942 to S.A. Agnew Lumber Company, #1 still hauled logs up until 1951 when the railway was abandoned. Fortunately, in 1964, it was donated to the Northwest Railway Museum and moved onto the property, in 1964 where it is inside the fence along Railroad Ave between the Snoqualmie PHWY and SE Northern Street as of today.
