Built in 1925 by the George D. Whitcomb Co to move construction materials and equipment loaded on flatcars around a dam being built in Arizona on a narrow-gauge track. When this locomotive was sold to the Southern Pacific Railroad, it was converted to operate on standard gauge track. They assigned it to a tie-treating plant in California. The JH Baxter Company acquired this locomotive to be used at a wood treating plant. In 1960, the company, along with this locomotive, moved to Renton. The locomotive was used to move wood in and out of retorts. When the plant went extinct in 1981, the Northwest Railway Museum bought this locomotive and set it out on static display at the Snoqualmie Depot as of today.
