Built in 1903 by Baldwin Locomotive Works in Pennsylvania for the Oregon Short Line and was numbered #969. It was used to haul freight. The Oregon Short Line was a Subsidiary of the Union Pacific Railroad at the time. In 1915, the Union Pacific Railroad renumbered this locomotive to #529. Edward Hines Lumber Company bought this locomotive in 1947 to transport whatever the company needed to move. In 1965, it officially retired and was donated to the Northwest Railway Museum, and is still on static display inside the fence along Railroad Ave between the Snoqualmie PHWY and SE Northern Street as of today.
