Southern Pacific Caboose 4243

Built in 1964 for the Southern Pacific Railroad. The bay window configuration allowed the train crew to observe the train from the side if obstructions blocked the view from the cupola. In 2004, a married couple named Doug and Mary Pittis moved this caboose to the Iron Horse Inn Bed and Breakfast, where it is used for lodging today.
