Built In 1956 by Pullman Car & Foundry for the Northern Pacific Railway. It started as a lounge for the Mainstreeter route up until 1962 when the Holiday Lounge cars went out of service. This coach was converted into a 48-seat coach and served Amtrak, where it was renumbered to 4890. When this coach retired, it was sold to someone named Mike Gelhouse. He was collecting retired passenger equipment to reenact the North Coast Limited with nineteen other railcars. When Gelhouse died in 2014, the collection of rolling stock was split up and auctioned. This coach was purchased by a collector, and with the permission of the Northern Pacific Railway Museum, he was able to store it on their property in 2017. In 2019, it was acquired by both the owner and the museum and is on static display inside the fence today.
